Gray
I just got report that this is actually a
male but in this photo he hasn't gone through his first moult.
The normal gray was the original
color for the cockatiel. They can been found in Australia as this
color. They
are also the most dominate of all the color mutations.
The first people to deal with the cockatiel were the
Aborigines, they most likely ate them for
food and poached their eggs!
They appear gray with yellow
on the face. They have the two orange cheek patches that cockatiels
are often
distinguished by.
